Frequently Asked Questions

The Separation Day Committee is comprised of a volunteer group of people dedicated toward seeing our city recognized for the prominent role it played in our states birthday.  We do that through this community festival filled with history, fun and celebrations.

The activities and events that make up the Separation Day Celebration are planned and administered by members of the Separation Day Committee and the New Castle Jaycees.

We would like to be able to assist everyone individually, but realistically we're all unpaid volunteers with full time jobs & families and sometimes there is simply not enough time in each day.

#1 Question - Can I sell food at Separation Day?

Food vendors are restricted to local community non-profit groups in an effort to help them get fundraising support for all they do for our citizens each year.  If you are one of these groups, we would love to have you participate.

#2 Question - Can I sell my items at Separation Day?
Personally created items may be displayed and sold in the Arts and Crafts Show.  If you are a business you are welcome to apply through the Promo Vendor Form under the Vendors icon.
